•Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits has agreed to form a new joint venture distributorship with Jarboe Sales Company in Oklahoma. The deal is set to close on October 1, 2018—the same day a new law allowing for the sale of wine and beer in grocery and convenience stores throughout Oklahoma will take effect. As such, the new company’s customer base is expected to expand by more than 3,700 accounts. The joint venture will operate out of Jarboe’s Tulsa-based, state-of-the-art distribution facility under the name Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of Oklahoma, and it will be a subsidiary of Southern Glazer’s Central Region. Jarboe managing partner J.B. Jarboe has been tapped as general manager of the joint venture.
