•Tennessee-based Ole Smoky Distillery has partnered with Yee Haw Brewing Co. and Music City Roots on 6th & Peabody, a new entertainment complex being built in Nashville’s SoBro neighborhood. The new venue will feature the fourth outpost of Ole Smoky and the second location of Yee Haw, as well as bars, tasting rooms, beer and bottle shops, and a retail component for the sale of moonshine and beer. Several stages for live music and a broadcast studio for Music City Roots’ weekly variety show will also be on site. 6th & Peabody is slated to open in the second half of 2018.

•Oregon’s Cascade Brewing has launched Midnight Bramble, its latest barrel-aged sour ale. The 6.6%-abv beer is a blend of wheat and blond ales aged with black and red raspberries, ginger, and thyme for up to 18 months. Midnight Bramble is now available at the brewery’s two Portland pubs and across the U.S. in 750-ml. bottles. The beer is a Tier One offering from Cascade, indicating the choice quality of the ingredients and the length of time the beer spent in oak.
