•Beginning this month, the Vermont Cider Company will release Woodchuck Pear Ginger cider nationwide. The 5%-abv cider kicks off the new limited Tank Series, which will cycle through three releases this year. Pear Ginger will launch in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans with a suggested retail price of $9 and on draft. The cider will be available through June, around the time the second offering in the series will debut. Vermont Hard Cider, a subsidiary of Ireland’s C&C Group, recently announced that its U.S. partnership with Pabst Brewing will end April 1, when the company will resume full responsibility for sales and marketing of its portfolio.

•Colorado’s Woody Creek Distillers has added a Bourbon to its craft spirits lineup. Rolling out this month, Woody Creek Distillers Colorado Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made with 70% Colorado corn and a proprietary blend of Colorado barley, wheat, and rye. The new expression, which is aged a minimum of four years in American oak, will be available in 11 markets within Woody Creek’s 16-market footprint, retail priced at $45 a 750-ml. Woody Creek Distillers also produces a Straight Colorado Rye Whiskey, Single Barrel Rye, Potato Vodka, Reserve Vodka, and Colorado Gin.
