•Rhode Island’s Keel Partners LLC has expanded its namesake vodka beyond its home New England market, adding Georgia, Colorado, and Florida to its footprint, with more states to come this year. Keel vodka is a 24%-abv spirit made from potatoes and marketed as a light alternative to traditional spirits. According to the company, a 1.5-ounce serving has 58 calories and zero carbs. Keel has partnered with RNDC in Colorado and Florida, and with National Distributing Company in Georgia. In April, the company plans to add New York, New Jersey, Texas, and Tennessee to its distribution area. The company is owned by Rhode Island businessmen Bill Dessel and Tom McGowan and former New England Patriot Matt Light.

•Kansas City’s Boulevard Brewing has linked with Breakthru Beverage to launch its portfolio in Nevada. Starting in April, a selection of Boulevard’s most popular brews—including its Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale, Unfiltered Wheat Beer, and Tropical Pale Ale labels—as well as a variety of seasonals and limited releases will be available across the state. The expansion grows Boulevard’s reach to 40 states and Washington D.C. Boulevard is part of Duvel Moortgat USA, which also includes Firestone Walker and Brewery Ommegang and ranks as the fifth-largest craft brewing company in the U.S., according to the Brewers Association.
