Treasury CFO Burghardt To Take On U.S. Operations Role

April 13, 2018

Treasury Wine Estates CFO Gunther Burghardt is transitioning to the role of executive vice president, operations for the Americas, effective May 1. Burghardt will be charged in part with overseeing the company’s U.S. supply chain, working in tandem with TWE chief operating officer and president of the Americas Robert Foye. His appointment follows Treasury’s recent overhaul of its distribution profile in the U.S., with the group announcing a shift to a partial self-distribution model in California and Washington and a hybrid model in Florida, among other changes, in January. Concurrently, TWE deputy chief financial officer Matt Young—who has been with TWE since 2014—will succeed Burghardt as CFO.—Christina Jelski
