•Delaware-based Dogfish Head Craft brewery has launched Mixed Media, the company’s newest beer-wine hybrid. The 7.5%-abv hybrid is fermented from grains (51%) and late-harvest Viognier grapes (49%) from Washington’s Alexandria Nicole Cellars using a Belgian yeast strain. Mixed Media will be available through September in 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles in the brewery’s 41-state and Washington D.C. distribution footprint. Dogfish Head is the 12th-largest craft brewer in the U.S., according to the Brewers Association.

•Kansas City, Missouri’s Boulevard Brewing Company has completed its $10 million canning line project. The 24,000-square foot space is adjacent to the brewery and can produce up to 350 12-ounce cans per minute. The line can be adjusted to handle different packaging formats and can sizes. Currently, Boulevard is canning 12-packs of KC Pils and Pale Ale. Going forward, seasonal releases like Hibiscus Gose and Berliner Weisse will be offered in cans and on draft. Boulevard, a member of Duvel Moortgat USA, recently expanded into its 40th state of distribution.

•Correction: In yesterday’s issue it was stated that The Winebow Group’s national imports number about 1.4 million cases. In fact, following the addition of the Negociants USA business, Winebow’s volume will be at about 2 million cases.
