•Kona Brewing Co. has unveiled Gold Cliff IPA as the latest addition to its seasonal Aloha Series. Rolling out ahead of the summer season, Gold Cliff is made with Mosaic, Chinook, Topaz, and Citra hops and infused with pineapple. The 7.2%-abv IPA will be available nationwide in 6-packs and on draft starting May 7. Gold Cliff IPA is replacing Lemongrass Luau in Kona’s Aloha Series lineup, which also includes the Koko Brown Ale and Pipeline Porter labels. Kona Brewing is part of the Craft Brew Alliance portfolio.
•San Diego, California-based Coronado Brewing has released a new beer within its Knoxville Series. Brewed with fresh peach puree and Mosaic, Citra, and Azacca hops, Peach Cruiser IPA is the second installment in the Knoxville range, which launched with North Island IPA last year. The 6.8%-abv Peach Cruiser is available for a limited time in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans, in 22-ounce bottles, and on draft across Coronado’s distribution footprint.
•Minnesota’s Lift Bridge Brewing is laying plans to expand with a larger brewing facility to meet increasing demand. Lift Bridge, which rose from 8,000 barrels in 2014 to 19,000 barrels last year, is expecting about 20% annual growth over the next five years. The company has acquired a 5.5-acre plot in Stillwater, Minnesota, less than a quarter-mile from its current location, and intends to begin construction on a new facility—including a taproom, patio, and outdoor space—in August.
