Bob Dylan Links With Spirits Investment Partners To Unveil Heaven’s Door Whiskey Range

April 30, 2018

Bob Dylan has collaborated with beverage alcohol investment group Spirits Investment Partners (SIP) to launch Heaven’s Door Spirits, a new collection of American craft whiskies. The range, which features whiskies from various distillers and blenders, comprises three inaugural offerings: a Tennessee Straight Bourbon, Double Barrel Whiskey from Tennessee, and a Straight Rye Whiskey finished in barrels from Vosges, France. Rolling out in mid-May, the Heaven’s Door whiskies will initially be available for purchase online and at retail across Tennessee, Texas, California, Florida, New York, and Illinois, priced at around $50-$80 a 750-ml. The Bootleg Series, a limited edition lineup of rare whiskey stocks and special blends, will join the core portfolio next year. The brand is also set to open a distillery and brand experience center in Nashville by 2019.

The Heaven’s Door project marks Dylan’s first-ever brand partnership. SIP CEO Marc Bushala, meanwhile, has helped spearhead a variety of ventures in the food and beverage space, most notably as a founding partner of Angel’s Envy Bourbon. Bushala and his partners sold Angel’s Envy parent company Angel’s Share Brands to Bacardi Ltd. in 2015.—Christina Jelski
