•Diageo has launched American Anthem, a new premium vodka brand. Made with corn sourced from Indiana and Iowa, American Anthem is 80 proof. A dollar from each bottle made will be donated to charitable groups Operation Gratitude and The Mission Continues, both of which aim to support military personnel and their families. American Anthem joins the Smirnoff, Ketel One, and Cîroc brands in Diageo’s existing vodka lineup.

•In case you missed yesterday’s News Alert, industry veteran Rudy Costello, who was named chief operating officer of Stoli Group USA in February, has been promoted to president and CEO of the company. Costello will oversee both the U.S. and Canada and report to Stoli Group’s global CEO Hugues Pietrini, who has been serving as interim CEO of the North American business. Here’s the full story.

•Mast-Jägermeister US has launched Jägermeister Manifest, a super-premium extension of its flagship brand, in select on-premise accounts across the U.S. The 38%-abv liqueur is created from a blend of 56 botanicals and five macerates and aged in used American and German oak barrels for over a year. Manifest is best served neat or over ice, according to the company, and can also be incorporated into cocktails such as the Old Fashioned. While the release is initially exclusive to on-premise accounts, Jägermeister Manifest will retail for a suggested price of $60 when it eventually hits store shelves.
