May 23, 2018•Prestige Imports LLC has partnered with the Boone and Crockett Club, a national hunting and nature conservation organization, to bring a line of Boone and Crockett branded whiskies to the U.S. market. The partners have released three whiskies: a straight Bourbon ($43) and straight rye ($45) from Tennessee, both bottled at 43%-abv and aged for two years; and an American Blended Whiskey ($30), bottled at 40%-abv and made using 30% straight Bourbon. All three whiskies will launch on July 4 and will be available nationwide.
•The Massachusetts Bay Brewing Company’s UFO Beer has partnered with Polar Seltzer to launch UFO Blueberry Lemonade. The new, unfiltered wheat beer is brewed with the essence of Polar Seltzer’ade Blueberry Lemonade and clocks in at a sessionable 4.8%-abv. Available throughout the summer in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans and on draft, Blueberry Lemonade joins White, Pineapple, Raspberry, and Hefeweizen expressions in the current UFO lineup.
•Correction: In yesterday’s post regarding Jackson Family Wines’ move to Southern Glazer’s in Florida it was incorrectly reported that Southern Glazer’s handles Treasury Wine Estates brands in Florida. Treasury brands are distributed by Breakthru Beverage in the state.
