•Brooklyn, New York’s Braven Brewing Company has partnered with DOPS, Inc. to expand into Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Delaware, marking the first time that Braven’s brews will be available outside of New York. DOPS will begin distribution of Braven’s full portfolio in D.C. in June, before further expanding into Maryland and Delaware over the following months. Braven plans to host a series of launch events across the new distribution footprint as the brand reaches new locations.

•San Diego’s Green Flash Brewing Company has hired Michael Taylor, formerly of Anheuser-Busch, as its new CEO. Taylor joins Green Flash with more than a decade of industry experience and plans to focus on stabilizing the Green Flash and Alpine brands while pushing for targeted long-term growth in the company’s new regional footprint. At Anheuser-Busch, Taylor oversaw non-alcoholic brands Hiball Energy and Alta Palla. He also spent seven years as the company’s vice president of mergers and acquisitions, where he oversaw the acquisition of brands like Goose Island Brewing, Blue Point Brewery, 10 Barrel Brewing Company, and others. Taylor’s appointment comes on the heels of Green Flash’s sale to WC IPA LLC.
