June 6, 2018

7 Eleven Inc. has launched Voyager Point, a new premium wine brand. The new range features two California-sourced wines—a Cabernet Sauvignon and a red blend made with Merlot, Zinfandel, and Petite Sirah—as well as a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand’s Marlborough region. Retail priced at $10 a 750-ml., Voyager Point is available at 7 Eleven locations across the U.S. and joins the Yosemite Road and Trojan Horse brands in the retailer’s own-label wine portfolio. Walmart also recently began selling a new higher-priced private label collection—the Winemakers Selection range—including wines from California, France, and Italy, with most of the entries retailing at around $11.—Julia Higgins
