•Illinois-based A. Hardy USA has added two new Italian offerings—Verney Vermouth and Amaro Dente di Leone—to its import portfolio. Based on an old recipe from Italian botanist Abbé Edouard Berard, Verney Vermouth features a blend of wormwood, parietta grass, sarieula, orange peel, calamus, and coriander, among other ingredients, while Amaro Dente di Leone is billed as a wild dandelion-based liqueur, made with dandelion, gentian, and genepy herbs, as well as muscovado sugar. Both Verney Vermouth and Amaro Dente di Leone will be available in 1-liter bottles nationwide, retail priced at $32 and $40, respectively.
