•Escondido, California’s Stone Brewing has launched Fear.Movie.Lions Double IPA, the brewery’s first year-round beer brewed exclusively for the eastern half of the U.S. The unfiltered, East Coast-style IPA clocks in at 8.5% abv and is brewed with Magnum, Loral, and Mosaic hops. Fear.Movie.Lions will be available in 6-packs of 16-ounce cans and on draft from Oklahoma to the East Coast.

•Green Flash Brewing Company has opened its Lincoln, Nebraska-based Brewhouse & Eatery. The full-service restaurant serves Green Flash and Alpine beers alongside a seasonally tailored menu. The 10,000-square-foot brewery at the site will make experimental, limited release beers exclusively for the brewpub and also serve Green Flash and Alpine offerings to go both in growlers and packaged formats. The new brewpub comes amid a major restructuring for Green Flash, which in recent months has substantially reduced its distribution footprint and named Michael Taylor, formerly of Anheuser-Busch, as its new CEO.
