July 9, 2018•Clifton Park, New York’s Shmaltz Brewing Company has released the latest in its 838 series, the seasonal double IPA #DDHMAO. The beer, a double dry-hopped double IPA, is brewed with Cascade, Citra, Equinox, and Pacific Gem hops, as well as 30% locally sourced 2-Row malt. The new, hazy IPA will be available throughout the summer. The beer is now available at Shmaltz’s taprooms on draft and in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans with distribution in the upstate New York area forthcoming.
•Sherborn, Massachusetts’ Stormalong Cider has launched two new ciders and will now offer its core lineup in 16-ounce cans. The first new entry, Light of the Sun, is a dry-hopped cider made with Citra and Mosaic hops with added blood orange and grapefruit zest. This new dry-hopped cider will replace the brand’s Dry Hop in the core lineup. The second new cider, Red Skies at Night, is a seasonal cider made with passionfruit and hibiscus. The two new offerings, plus Stormalong’s Legendary Dry and Mass Appeal, are now available in 16-ounce cans in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
