•Constellation Brands has acquired Dallas-based Four Corners Brewing Co. for an undisclosed sum. Four Corners’ core lineup includes Local Buzz Honey-Rye Golden Ale and El Chingón IPA, among others. Last year, the brewery more than tripled its capacity to 25,000 barrels. Co-founders George Esquivel, Greg Leftwich, and Steve Porcari will continue to lead day-to-day operations following the acquisition. Constellation’s craft portfolio also includes California’s Ballast Point and Florida’s Funky Buddha.

•Texas-based Ben Milam Whiskey has named Marlene Holmes as head distiller. Holmes, formerly of Jim Beam, joins Ben Milam with nearly 30 years of experience in the industry. This year, the distillery will break ground on a new barrelhouse following strong growth in 2017, according to founder Marsha Milam. Ben Milam’s three releases—Bourbon, Rye, and Barrel Proof Bourbon—are distributed throughout Texas by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits.
