WSWA Names Michelle Korsmo As President And CEO

July 20, 2018

The Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) executive committee has appointed Michelle Korsmo as president and CEO of the trade group, replacing Craig Wolf, who stepped down June 30.

Korsmo is currently president and CEO of the American Land Title Association (ALTA), serving the real estate settlement and land title industry. She will join the WSWA full-time in September. Prior to leading ALTA, Korsmo served as executive vice president of the Americans for Prosperity Foundation and previously served as deputy chief of staff at the U.S. Department of Labor.

The WSWA has been on the hunt for a new chief executive since January, when Wolf announced he was stepping down after an 18-year tenure with the group to run for attorney general of Maryland.
