•St. Paul, Minnesota’s Summit Brewing Co. is launching Bonfire Box, a Fall-focused variety pack. The 12-pack of 12-ounce cans will contain three cans each of Summit Extra Pale Ale (4.2% abv), Keller Pils (5.1% abv), and Oktoberfest (5.7% abv), alongside a new beer, Summit Cranky Woodsman. The new brew is a 5.2%-abv brown ale made with Target and Minnesota Cascade hops, with maple syrup added to the kettle. Cranky Woodsman will launch at the Summit Ratskeller on August 2 with the Bonfire Box rolling out throughout Summit’s distribution footprint in the following weeks.

•Correction: In yesterday’s post, Bardstown Bourbon Co.’s current capacity of 6.8 million proof gallons was incorrectly converted to 2.3 million 9-liter cases. In fact, the 6.8 million proof gallons corresponds to about 3.6 million cases at 80 proof.
