July 31, 2018

Delicato Family Vineyards is teaming with Washington-based Mercer Wine Estates on a new wine brand. The new label, Mercer Family Vineyards, will roll out starting tomorrow, retailing in the $15-$20 segment. The initial lineup will include a Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Blend, and a Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, all available nationally. In addition, Mercer Family Vineyards will launch a Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Malbec, and Reserve Red Blend in the Pacific Northwest. Based in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA, Mercer has a national sales and marketing partnership with Sonoma’s V2 Wine Group, in which Delicato holds a partial stake.—Daniel Marsteller
