•The Macallan has unveiled the latest whisky in its Masters of Photography series. Macallan’s Masters of Photography: Magnum Edition is a collaboration between the Edrington-owned single malt Scotch and the Magnum Photos cooperative. Drawn from a combination of eight different Macallan casks, the new entry is bottled at 43.7% abv and comes with a selection of six signed photographic prints and a book of photography depicting various aspects of the new Macallan distillery and visitor experience. The Macallan’s new Masters of Photography malt will sell at $3,500 and is limited to 2,000 editions worldwide.

•South Carolina-based spirits company Terressentia has named former Diageo and Moët Hennessy executive Simon Burch as president and CEO. Prior to joining Terressentia, Burch was CMO for Moët Hennessy’s Belvedere vodka, and before that was global director of Smirnoff at Diageo. In his new role, Burch will look to drive growth for Terressentia’s bulk and private label spirits business, as well as its O.Z. Tyler Distillery in Owensboro, Kentucky. Terressentia is projecting shipments of about 400,000 proof gallons this year.
