•Pabst Brewing Company has announced a slew of changes to its executive team, effective immediately. CEO Simon Thorpe, who started with the company in late 2016, has stepped down, as has COO Brian Bousley. Replacing Thorpe is Pabst chairman Eugene Kashper, who held the chief executive role prior to Thorpe’s tenure. Elsewhere, CMO Matt Bruhn has transitioned from his current post to that of general manager. In his new capacity, Bruhn be responsible for Pabst’s day-to-day commercial operations. Chief sales officer Brian Smith, meanwhile, is now a part of Pabst’s executive leadership team, while Stone Brewing vice president of supply chain and distribution Ron Kane is joining the company as chief supply chain officer. Pabst’s core Blue Ribbon beer was down 0.2% to 2.5 million barrels last year.
