•Tennessee’s Sugarlands Distilling Company has introduced Swindell’s Peppermint moonshine, the first expression in a new line of spirits made in partnership with country music singer Cole Swindell. Made with natural peppermint flavor, the 100-proof moonshine will be available across Sugarlands’ 24-state distribution starting October 15. Next January, another expression is set to join the Swindell’s lineup. The Sugarlands portfolio includes an array of flavored moonshines, rums, and liqueurs, as well as a rye whiskey.

•Wisconsin-based Ciderboys has launched Lemon Cello, the cidery’s newest limited release. The 5%-abv cider is inspired by the similarly named Italian liqueur limoncello and is moderately sweet with a tart lemon backbone, according to the cidermaker. Lemon Cello is now available in 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles and on draft throughout Ciderboys’ 32-state distribution footprint.

•Asheville, North Carolina breweries Hi Wire and Highland have teamed up to create Plum Nectar, a new Berliner Weisse made with plums. The 4.5%-abv beer is brewed with Azacca hops and 17 pounds of plums per barrel. Sarah Gulotta of Hi-Wire and Katie Smith of Highland developed the beer together, which will launch at each brewery’s taproom on October 17. Statewide distribution on draft and in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans will follow. At the release parties, one dollar from each pint sold will be donated to the Pink Boots Society, which helps women in the beer industry connect and further their careers.

•Correction: Yesterday’s story on Teeling Whiskey Co. incorrectly stated the company’s U.S. volume. The correct figure is 12,000 cases.
