•San Francisco, California’s Anchor Brewing Company has released Brewers’ Pale Ale Citra Hop Blend, the newest iteration of the brewery’s rotating pale ale series. The 5.3%-abv beer is made with a blend that highlights the citrusy flavors imparted by Citra hops, including Cascade, El Dorado, and Eureka. Brewers’ Pale Ale Citra Hop Blend is now available on draft and in 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles in select on- and off-premise locations in San Francisco.

•Armada, Michigan-based Blake’s Hard Cider will launch Fido, its newest seasonal release, on November 1. The 6.8%-abv cider is made with Michigan-grown Cascade and Chinook hops, and is fermented with raspberries and conditioned on grapefruit peel. The cider is the second release in the Kinder Cider Series, which benefits non-profits. Fido was created to benefit Pets for Patriots, an organization that pairs shelter animals with veterans. Blake’s Hard Cider hopes to raise $10,000 or more during Fido’s release.
