•Hampton, New Hampshire’s Smuttynose Brewing Company will launch two new IPAs on October 29. Whole Lotta Lupulin is an 8.6%-abv double IPA that will be released alongside Mysterious Haze, a 6.7%-abv double dry-hopped New England IPA. Both of Smuttynose’s new beers will be available in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans in the brewery’s distribution footprint. In addition to launching the new beers, Smuttynose has expanded its sales and marketing team, and added a new canning line to prepare for future growth. In April, Smuttynose was acquired by Runnymede Investments.

•Stone Brewing is adding Tropic of Thunder Lager to its year-round portfolio. Made with Cashmere, Citra, and Mosaic hops, the 5.8%-abv lager will be distributed year-round in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans, 19.2-ounce cans, and on draft. The new entry is rolling out now in California ahead of a national launch early next year. Escondido, California-based Stone is the eighth-largest craft brewer in the U.S., according to the Brewers Association.
