•Paso Robles, California’s Firestone Walker Brewing Company has released the 2018 edition of Mocha Merlin. The seasonal release is a 5.5%-abv milk stout brewed with HoneyCo Coffee Roasters coffee and cocoa nibs from Ghana. The beer is now available in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans and the Merlin’s Mixed Pack, a 12-pack of cans that also features Luponic Distortion, Union Jack, and Pivo. Firestone Walker Brewing Company is part of the Duvel Moortgat USA family of breweries.

•Wisconsin’s La Crosse Distilling Co. has partnered with Capitol-Husting Co. to expand across Wisconsin. The distillery, maker of Fieldnotes Gin ($35) and Vodka ($30), produces its spirits from organic grains and botanicals sourced from the region. Both spirits are bottled at 40% abv. Fieldnotes Gin is distilled from wheat and barley and infused with lavender, bay leaf, thyme, and lemon, among other botanicals. Fieldnotes Vodka is a gluten-free, potato-based spirit. La Crosse’s vodka and gin are now available in both the on- and off-premise throughout Wisconsin, with further expansion planned for the future.
