•Francis Ford Coppola is entering the burgeoning cannabis business.Coppola’s newly formed cannabis unit Sána Company LLC, has partnered with the Humboldt Brothers to source three sustainably farmed strains of cannabis to be packaged in 3-gram tins and marketed under the Grower’s Series brand. The new, limited-release cannabis series is available for pre-order to residents of Northern California with delivery beginning in mid-December. In addition, the strains will be available at select dispensaries in California.

•Roust USA, the stateside subsidiary of Russian vodka producer Roust Corp., has formed its own New York City-based distributor. Effective December 1, Roust New York will take over distribution of all Roust brands in the New York metro area, replacing Roust’s current New York distributor partner, Empire Merchants. The new distribution arm will operate a new online order system and feature consumer activation programs, among other initiatives. Roust Corp. is known for its flagship Russian Standard vodka brand, which sells 215,000 cases in the U.S. annually. Roust USA’s portfolio also includes Gancia Sparkling Wines, Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka, Green Mark and Soplica Vodkas, King’s Falcon Single Malt Scotch, De Luze Cognac and Russian Standard Moscow Mule ready-to-drink cocktail.
