•The Winebow Group has acquired the exclusive import and distribution rights to The GlenAllachie single malt Scotch whisky, effective immediately. Winebow will offer the portfolio in 22 markets across the U.S. Last year, a group led by Scotch whisky industry veteran Billy Walker acquired the 50-year-old GlenAllachie Distillery from Pernod Ricard and revamped the brand’s core lineup to include 10-, 12-, 15-, and 25-year old bottlings.

•Illva Saronno USA is bolstering its “Enter the World of Disaronno” campaign with a multi-million dollar ad spend. The campaign is primarily focused on television, where the company will advertise on 23 channels including A&E, AMC, BET, ESPN2, and VH1. Additionally, the campaign will be supported through digital and social media-focused advertisements. The goal for Disaronno, according to the company, is to keep the liqueur on consumers’ minds throughout the year and not just for the holiday season. •Brown-Forman has released the 2018 edition of its Woodford Reserve holiday bottle to retailers nationwide. The artwork, called “Winter Spirit,” shows off a snow-covered Scale House at Woodford Reserve Distillery. The release is a 1-liter bottling of Woodford’s standard 45.2%-abv Bourbon and is now available for a limited time nationwide.

•Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) has partnered with Liberation Distribution (LibDib) to marry RNDC’s 22-state distribution footprint to LibDib’s three-tier compliant distribution software. The partnership will allow beverage alcohol producers, regardless of size, to expand distribution via RNDC’s network by listing on LibDib’s platform. LibDib is currently limited to New York and California but plans to quickly move into additional states with the RNDC partnership. The two companies say they will “share data and technologies to provide both customers and suppliers with market access, modern selling tools, and the most unique and diverse portfolio in the country.”
