•Basil Hayden’s Bourbon, part of the Beam Suntory portfolio, has debuted a new 10-year-old holiday release. Basil Hayden’s 10-year-old Bourbon is at 40% abv, retails at $60 a 750-ml., and is expected to return on an annual basis moving forward. One of the fastest-growing brands in Beam Suntory’s portfolio, Basil Hayden’s 9-liter case depletions rose to 181,000 last year, up 29% from 2016, according to Impact Databank.

•California-based importer Guarachi Wine Partners has added Chilean winery MontGras to its import portfolio. Beginning in January, Guarachi will take over sales, marketing, and distribution of MontGras wines. MontGras produces bottlings from the Colchagua, Maipo, and Leyda regions and its releases are certified sustainable by Wines of Chile. The winery joins other South American brands like Bodega Norton, Santa Ema, and Kaiken in Guarachi’s portfolio. MontGras was previously handled in the U.S. by Palm Bay.
