December 11, 2018•Hawaii-based Maui Brewing Company has partnered with California’s Smog City Brewing to launch Star Maps Kolsch. The 6.1%-abv beer is brewed with Huell Melon, Motueka, and Calypso hops plus locally sourced Hawaiian Starfruit for a New World take on the classic European style. The new brew is now available on draft and in 4-packs of 12-ounce cans at the brewery’s Hawaiian brewpubs and in select markets across the company’s 23-state distribution footprint for a limited time.
•Michigan’s Perrin Brewing is introducing Clear Coast Fresh Hard Seltzer. Billed as a hard seltzer made with fresh water and flavored with hints of Mango and Guava, Clear Coast is at 5% abv and has 100 calories per serving. The new entry is rolling out to Michigan on-premise accounts this week. Perrin is part of the Canarchy craft brewing collective. Its core brews include Gold ale, Black dark ale, 98 Problems IPA, No Problems Session IPA, and Light Lager.
