St. Louis, Missouri-based Schlafly Beer is adding to its high-end From the Ibex Cellar series with its new Barrel-Aged Barleywine ($18). Aged in Kentucky Bourbon barrels, Barrel-Aged Barleywine is a 10.2%-abv English ale, and the last of six offerings in the series this year. It joins Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout (10.2%-abv), Imperial Coffee Stout (9.4%-abv), Local Oak Ale (4.5%-abv), Sour Blonde Ale (5%-abv), and Barrel-Aged Saison (7.5%-abv).
