•New Orleans, Louisiana’s Atelier Vie has launched three new spirits: a whiskey, a rum, and a brandy. Original Louisiana Rice Whiskey is a 45%-abv offering aged in small oak barrels for 13 months that retails for $65. Calio Rum is a pot-distilled spirit made from locally sourced molasses and bottled unfiltered at 45% abv, with a retail price of $35. Finally, Atelier Vie has released Orphan Street Brandy “El Jefe” Edition, a 50%-abv brandy aged for two years in small barrels. At this time, Orphan Street and Original Louisiana Rice are available at the distillery with limited Louisiana distribution, while Calio rum is available throughout the company’s eight-state distribution footprint.

•Clarification: Regarding yesterday’s Delicato-V2 story, Delicato clarifies that while V2’s brands have been integrated into the Delicato portfolio, V2 Wine Group LLC continues to be jointly owned by Delicato and Dan and Katy Leese.
