•Portland, Oregon-based Eastside Distilling has acquired Craft Canning + Bottling, which specializes in mobile operations, for $5.2 million. Following the deal, Eastside will merge its Mother Lode co-packing subsidiary into Craft Canning + Bottling. Craft chairman Owen Lingley said Eastside will allow the company to “add marketing capability, as well as equipment, and reach out for new business in high-growth areas like wine canning, cocktail RTDs, and CBD drinks.” Founded by Lingley in 2012, Craft Canning + Bottling operates in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. Eastside Distilling is the majority owner of Big Bottom Distilling and Redneck Riviera Whiskey Co.
