•Portland, Oregon-based Eastside Distilling has introduced its first ready-to-drink offering. Portland Mule is a 10.5% abv riff on a Moscow Mule made with Eastside’s Portland Potato Vodka. Launching initially in Oregon at $15 a 4-pack, the Mule will come in a 250-ml slim can from Eastside’s own canning operation. Eastside intends to pursue the RTD market aggressively in 2019, following its recent acquisition of Craft Canning + Bottling.

•Longmont, Colorado’s Oskar Blues Brewery is launching the Can-O-Bliss series, a rotating line of IPAs. The first entry in the series, Can-O-Bliss Tropical IPA, is out now. It’s a 7.2% abv brew made with Mosaic, Azacca, Galaxy, El Dorado, and Idaho 7 hops, and will be followed later in the year by a Hazy IPA and a Citrus IPA. Each of the Can-O-Bliss beers will be distributed nationally, retailing at around $9 a 6-pack. Known for its flagship Dale’s Pale Ale, Oskar Blues is a member of the Canarchy Collective.
