•Escondido, California-based Stone Brewing is taking its Tropic of Thunder lager nationwide. Known for its extensive line of IPAs, Stone has made what CEO Dominic Engels calls “a lager for IPA lovers.” At 5.8% abv, Tropic of Thunder lager is now available in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans and single 19-ounce cans. Additionally, Stone says its ///Fear.Movie.Lions Double IPA (8.5% abv) will debut nationwide this year.
•Holland, Michigan’s New Holland Brewing will complement its premium Dragon’s Milk Bourbon Barrel-Aged Stout with line extension Dragon’s Milk White. The 6% abv “white stout,” also aged in Bourbon barrels, launches in Grand Rapids and Holland, Michigan on February 8, with a nationwide release to follow. New Holland has volume of about 40,000 barrels annually.
•Columbus, Ohio-based Watershed Distillery is expanding distribution of its Chamomile-Flavored Guild Gin (44% abv). Previously only available at the distillery, Guild Gin will now be distributed across Ohio, with other states planned to follow.
