•San Diego, California-based JuneShine, a hard kombucha producer that opened for business last June, has acquired Ballast Point’s former Scripps Ranch production facility for an undisclosed price. The brewery has an annual production capacity of 100,000 barrels. JuneShine plans to reopen Scripps Ranch this summer as it grows production and expands distribution beyond the San Diego-Los Angeles area. Brewed with honey and green tea, JuneShine produces Blood Orange Mint, Honey Ginger Lemon, Midnight Painkiller, and Cucumber Mojito kombuchas, all at 6% abv. Constellation acquired Ballast Point in 2015 for $1 billion.

•Colorado craft brewer Odell Brewing has entered the Oklahoma market, partnering with Capital Distributing, and LDF Sales and Distributing to bring four core offerings plus seasonal releases to the state. Odell’s 90 Shilling, Odell IPA, Sippin Pretty Fruited Sour, and Rupture Fresh Grind Ale are now available throughout the state in cans and on draft, with seasonal releases to be made available as they are released. Odell is now distributed to 19 states across the U.S.
