•The Craft Bar, the northern Florida gastropub owned by retailers Chan Cox and Robert Montgomery, will open its fourth location this week. The Fort Walton Beach venue is located next door to Cox’s and Montgomery’s Wine World retail store, and puts a focus on cocktails ($8-$12) composed of fresh ingredients and small-batch spirits. Some 30 rotating draft beers (averaging $7-$12 for pours of 10-16 ounces) are also featured, as well as wines by the glass ($8-$14 for various pour sizes) and bottle ($18-$35 a 750-ml.). The Craft Bar’s menu highlights modern twists on traditional pub food, made with local or regionally sourced ingredients. Cox and Montgomery, who were named Market Watch Leaders last year, also own the five-unit Wine World liquor store chain and three-unit The Wine Bar on-premise concept, all in northwestern Florida. Plans are underway for a major project in Pensacola featuring a Wine World, The Craft Bar, and The Wine Bar.
