•Boston, Massachusetts-based Marathon Brewing, a new producer under the Boston Beer Company umbrella, has launched 26.2 Brew. The 4% abv ale is brewed with sea salt and coriander and has 120 calories per serving. The brand is an evolution of the original Boston 26.2 Brew, which was exclusively available in Boston during the city’s marathon. The new release is available nationwide in 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles ($10), 12-packs of 12-ounce cans ($17-$19), single serve 24-ounce cans ($3), and on draft.
•Texas brewer Shiner Beer has released Rosé Pale Ale, the newest release in its Brewer’s Pride series. The 6.5% abv ale is made with Idaho 7 hops and grape must before aging in wine barrels from Tyler, Texas winemaker Kiepersol Vineyards. Rosé Pale Ale is now available across Shiner’s distribution footprint in 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles for $11, and in select locations in individual larger-format bottles.
•Portland, Oregon-based Breakside Brewery has introduced its newest year-round beer, True Gold. Billed as a West Coast Golden Ale, True Gold is at 5.1% abv and is rolling out in 6-packs and on draft across Breakside’s 10-state distribution territory.
