•Coney Island Brewing has added a new beer to its year-round lineup. Billed as a Kölsch-style ale, Beach Beer is made with a combination of 2-Row, Munich, and White Wheat malts and Golden Naked Oats. The 4.6% abv brew debuted at Coney Island’s Surf Avenue taproom last summer and is now rolling out across New York, New Jersey, and Baltimore, Maryland, and joins Mermaid Pilsner, Merman IPA, and Coney Island Lager in the brewery’s permanent lineup. Boston Beer Co. subsidiary A&S Brewing operates Coney Island Brewing.
