•Funkwerks of Fort Collins, Colorado, has released its Belgian-style Wit White on draft and in 6-packs. Previously part of a variety pack, the 4.8% abv beer will now be available on its own year-round. Funkwerks distributes in 10 states in the southwest and upper Midwest. Funkwerks, which is minority-owned by Brooklyn Brewery, is preparing to expand into new states in 2019. Its year-round beers include a Saison, White, Raspberry Provincial, and Tropic King.
•St. Louis-based Schlafly Beer has announced the release of its Raspberry Hefeweizen. The pink beer is made with real raspberry and clocks in at 4.1% abv. Geared toward warm weather occasions, Schlafly’s Raspberry Hefeweizen will be available in 6-packs of 12-ounce bottles as well 12-packs of 16-ounce cans. The latter will sell at around $14 across Schlafly’s distribution area.
