•Los Angeles-based Angel City Brewery has launched Cold Brewski, billed as a gluten-free hard coffee. The 5% abv offering, which is a nitrogenated, cold-brewed hard coffee made from fermented cane sugar and coffee beans, has 110 calories a 12-ounce can and is recommended to be served over ice. Angel City’s Cold Brewski is rolling out in 4-packs of cans to select retailers. The brewery’s core beers include an IPA, Double IPA, Pilsner, and Sunbather session sour ale.

•The Canarchy Craft Brewery Collective has appointed Tony Short as its new CEO. The consortium, which includes Oskar Blues, Cigar City, Deep Ellum, and Perrin Brewing, among others, chose Short after operating without a CEO since David Pillsbury left the position around a year ago. Short joins Canarchy following nearly 25 years of experience at Anheuser-Busch, including time as vice president of business and wholesaler development. In addition, Short served as president of A-B wholesaler Major Eagle. Canarchy produced approximately 421,000 barrels in 2018.
