•Madison, Wisconsin-based Plain Spoke Cocktail Co. has expanded into Minneapolis following the purchase of Two Tall Distillery.

 The Plain Spoke portfolio currently includes a Moscow Mule and a Bourbon Smash, both canned at 10% abv and produced with 100% citrus juice and no preservatives. The releases are rolling out in liquor stores in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, including chains like Total Wine and Hy-Vee, retail at $4 for a single 200-ml. can and $15 for a 4-pack.

•Stillwater, Minnesota-based Lift Bridge Brewing Company will launch its line of hard seltzers later this month in variety 6-packs in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. The 5% abv line-up features the flavors Northwoods Juice Box, St. Croix Berries, and Voyageur Citrus. Lift Bridge was founded in 2008.

•Eastside Distilling has expanded its partnership with Walmart, placing Redneck Riviera Whiskey in over 800 stores. Beginning June 2, the whiskey will be available in Walmart locations in California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Washington, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Nebraska, Nevada, Arizona, Kentucky, Massachusetts, and New Mexico. In addition, Portland, Oregon-based Eastside has also partnered with Young’s Market Company for expansion into California. The Young’s deal will bring the Burnside family of Bourbons to the Golden State, in addition to Redneck Riviera.

•Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, Florida is re-releasing After Sesh Ale, a session ale brewed with orange, lime, and salt. It was developed in conjunction with Skatepark of Tampa to benefit non-profit Boards for Bros, which provides skateboards to underserved youth. After Sesh Ale was originally released last year to celebrate Skatepark of Tampa’s 25th anniversary. The 4.5% abv beer is brewed with Willamette hops. It will be available throughout Cigar City’s 31 state distribution network in 6-packs of 12-ounce cans. Cigar City is part of the Canarchy Collective.
