•Delicato Family Wines has launched Bota Box Nighthawk Gold Buttery Chardonnay. The 14.5% abv wine is California-sourced and aims to tap into the growing popularity of full-bodied Chardonnay, Delicato said. Nighthawk Gold Buttery Chardonnay is now available across the U.S. in 3-liter bags at $23 and joins Black Red Blend and Black Cabernet in Bota Box’s Nighthawk tier. Bota Box has grown by nearly 3 million cases since 2015 and was up 14% last year to 6.9 million cases, according to Impact Databank.

•Louisville, Kentucky-based Copper & Kings American Brandy Co. has added two new liqueurs to its Destillaré line: Café and Chocolat. Both liqueurs are based on aged Copper & Kings brandy before flavor infusion and bottling at 45% abv. Destillaré Café is made with Arabica coffee beans and barrel aged for 6-9 months with vanilla and cardamom. Finally the liqueur is proofed down using cold brew coffee. The company’s new chocolate liqueur is produced using a similar process but with cocoa nibs added to the barrel and water infused with cocoa nibs used to bring the liqueur to 45% abv. Constellation Brands has a stake in Copper & Kings American Brandy.

•Marianne Eaves, master distiller at Castle & Key Distillery in Kentucky, has resigned to pursue industry consulting, new strategic partnerships, and opportunities in documentary film and television, among other projects, the company said. Eaves was hired by Castle & Key four years ago, when investors Will Arvin and Wesly Murry began a restoration project that culminated in the historic distillery’s reopening last September.

•Washington, D.C.-based Don Ciccio & Figli has launched Ambrosia, a new aperitivo. Made with turmeric, blood orange, cantaloupe, carrots, and nine botanicals sourced from Italy, Ambrosia is rolling out nationwide for a retail price of $31 a 750-ml.
