•E.&J. Gallo has rebooted Bartles & Jaymes wine coolers with four new flavors and a refreshed look and packaging. The 4% abv wine coolers are made with wine, sparkling water, and fruit flavors, and are available in Watermelon and Mint, Cucumber and Lime, Ginger and Lemon, and Grapefruit and Green Tea flavors. Each 12-ounce can contains 120 calories and the revamped brand is now available in 6-packs for $11 and individual cans for $2.

•Bordeaux’s Château Greysac, handled in the U.S. by Taub Family Selections, has unveiled Le Blanc de Greysac, a 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Made from 15-year-old vines, Le Blanc de Greysac is debuting nationally, retailing at $20 a 750-ml., with key distributors including Taub Family’s Independence Wine & Spirits of New York, Southern Glazer’s, Young’s Market, and Pure Wine Co. Greysac is part of Jean Guyon’s Domaines Rollan de By portfolio.

•O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has launched canned packaging for its Day Owl Rosé. Made with Barbera, Grenache, and Syrah sourced from California’s Central Coast, Day Owl Rosé is now available in 375-ml. cans, retail priced at $7. The cans will begin rolling out nationwide on June 1. The O’Neill Vintners portfolio also includes the Line 39, Robert Hall, and Austerity wine brands, among others.

•CK Mondavi and Family is launching a new series of limited-quantity seasonal wines, beginning with this summer’s Sunset Sweet Red Blend. Retailing at $7 a 750-ml. in line with the rest of the CK Mondavi brand, Sunset Sweet Red will be on the market through summer and early fall. The brand’s new seasonal series is intended to drive trial and bring more consumers into the franchise. CK Mondavi and Family’s range also includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Red Blend, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon Blanc. The brand sells above 1.3 million cases in the U.S. annually.

•The Moretti Polegato family—which owns Veneto, Italy-based Villa Sandi—has purchased the Borgo Conventi winery for an undisclosed price. The acquisition includes the winery and roughly 74 acres of vineyards located in the Collio Gorizia and Isonzo DOCs. Villa Sandi has tapped Folio Fine Wine Partners as the winery’s U.S. importer; effective June 1, Folio will bring Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, and Friulano wines (all $19 a 750-ml.) from the brand’s Linea Collio tier to the U.S.

•Healdsburg, California’s Hall Family has launched Baca Ring Around the Rosé, a new California-sourced Zinfandel. The 13.5% abv wine is fermented in neutral French oak for seven months before packaging in 375-ml. cans. Ring Around the Rosé joins five other Zinfandel wines in the brand’s portfolio, sourced from Rockpile, Russian River Valley, Howell Mountain, Paso Robles, and Calistoga. Baca Ring Around the Rosé is available for $40 for a 4-pack of 375-ml. cans directly from the winery.

•Kimo Sabe mezcal has named Campari veteran Mike Price as vice president of marketing. Price spent eight years at Campari America, where he was most recently category marketing director for the whiskey portfolio. Kimo Sabe is present in 14 states, and plans to enter four more markets by the end of the year. The company says Price will oversee its distributor support programs and build new marketing platforms to increase the brand’s visibility.
