•Ontario-based Dillon’s Small Batch Distillers is rolling out Three Oaks rye whisky in the U.S., through ECU Imports. The 43% abv whisky is distilled from 100% Ontario Rye and blended from whiskies matured in American and Canadian oak barrels, along with ex-Bourbon barrels. The whisky will retail at around $50 a 750-ml. and will be available in New York through Empire Merchants, as well as Florida, Washington, D.C. (Breakthru Beverage), and California.

•This summer, Quebecois brewery Unibroue is releasing Éphémère Cassis in the U.S. for the first time since 2011. Available for a limited time on tap and in mixed 6-packs, the 5.5% abv black currant Belgian wheat ale is aged 12 to 18 months before bottling. Brewed since 2001, the Éphémère series features ales designed to highlight a seasonal fruit within the context of a lightly spiced white ale. Unibroue’s brewing style is based on 19-century brewing techniques developed by Trappist monks in Europe.
