•Huntington Beach, California-based Harbor Distributing, part of Reyes Beer Division, has acquired DBI Beverage Inc.’s northern California business, pending closure of the deal in September. Financial terms were not disclosed, but the acquisition will expand Harbor’s business by roughly 28 million cases and its customer base by 14,000 accounts. Reyes Beer Division operates 13 distributors covering California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

•Flavored whiskey brand Cask & Crew is planning to enter the Illinois, West Virginia, and Wisconsin markets this year, after expanding into seven new states in 2018. Part of Rochester, New York-based Roc House Brands, Cask & Crew is currently present in 25 U.S. markets and is projecting volume of 17,000 cases this year. The brand, whose offerings are composed of 51% three-year Canadian Rye and 49% three-year oak barrel-aged Kentucky corn, includes flavors like Orange Roasted, Ginger Spice, and Walnut Toffee. Cask & Crew also markets a Blended Rye Whiskey retailing at $25 a 750-ml.
