•Cloverdale, California’s Bear Republic Brewing Company has announced a host of changes for its leadership team. First, Richard G. Norgrove has been named the company’s new CEO, taking over for his father, Richard N. Norgrove. Richard G. previously served as Bear Republic’s COO. He will be replaced in that role by Peter Kruger, formerly the company’s master brewer. Finally, Bear Republic has promoted Roger Herpst to take over as master brewer. Formerly, Herpst was the brewery’s quality assurance manager.

•Caledonia Spirits has opened its new, 27,000-square-foot distillery in Montpelier Vermont, after starting construction last August. The move increases distilling capacity for Caledonia’s super-premium lineup of Barr Hill Gin, Tom Cat Gin, and Barr Hill Vodka tenfold. The solar-powered facility features custom-built stills, a cocktail bar, R&D center, retail shop, and an event space. Tours and free tastings of limited release spirits are available to visitors. Caledonia was founded in 2009 and distributes to 32 states.
