•Maui Brewing Company is introducing a new brand, Kupu Spirits, initially featuring a line of RTD canned cocktails. Kupu Spirits has launched in Hawaii in three varieties: Gin & Tonic (6.8% abv), Whiskey Ginger (7% abv), and Whiskey Cola (7% abv). The cocktails combine Kupu Spirits brand gin and whiskey—which will also be available soon in 750-ml. bottles—with Maui Brewing’s Island Soda line of mixers. The RTDs are initially available throughout Hawaii in single cans and 4-packs.

•Oskar Blues is adding to its Steep Coast Mountain IPA series with a new entry, Zappa Double IPA. Launching in select markets this month on draft and in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans, the 8%-abv newcomer is made with Zappa hops, along with smaller amounts of the Medusa and Sabro varieties, and is billed as a blend of the West Coast and East Coast IPA styles. Later this year, the Steep Coast series will see entries featuring the Southern Passion and Enigma hop varieties. Oskar Blues is part of the Canarchy collective, which ranks eighth among all U.S. craft brewers, according to the Brewers Association.
