•A new installment from the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost and Rare series, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Tasters’ Selection: Barrel Proof Rye, and new whiskies from Col. E.H. Taylor, Jr., Compass Box, and Talisker are among the offerings featured in Whisky Advocate’s latest new product update. The magazine’s website has all the details.

•Mendocino, California-based Bonterra Organic Vineyards has launched The Elysian Collection, a new, super-premium wine range. The new lineup is currently limited to a Merlot ($25 a 750-ml.), which is made from organically farmed grapes sourced from around California. Additional varietals are set to join The Elysian Collection in the near future. Bonterra, owned by Concha y Toro’s Fetzer Vineyards, depleted 419,000 cases in the U.S. last year, according to Impact Databank.

•Duckhorn Wine Co. is set to begin producing its Migration brand at the former Starmont winery in Carneros and open a tasting room there as well, the company has confirmed to SND. The Starmont winery was recently sold by the Schlatter family—which also owns Merryvale Family of Wines—to Orsi Family Vineyards. Orsi is leasing the site to Duckhorn, which plans to renovate its tasting room and reopen it next year to showcase Migration ($32-$55), which is focused on Russian River Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
