News Briefs for July 22, 2019

•Campari Group has announced that it’s in negotiations to purchase two rhum brands, Trois Rivières and La Mauny, from Rhumantilles SAS. The French company owns 96.5% of Martinique’s Bellonnie & Bourdillon Successeurs, which produces the two brands. In 2018, Rhumantilles SAS had net sales of €24.1 million ($27m). Campari’s existing rum portfolio includes the Appleton Estate, Wray & Nephew, and Baron Samedi brands.
