News Alert: Foley Family Wines Names Shawn Schiffer As President, As Reimers Departs

Foley Family Wines has named industry veteran Shawn Schiffer as president, SND has learned. Schiffer replaces Hugh Reimers, who served in the role for about 18 months and is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

In addition to leading Foley Family Wines, Schiffer will also become CEO of Epic Wines & Spirits, the Foley-owned California distributor.

Schiffer was most recently senior vice president of global sales at WX Brands, whose wine labels include Bread & Butter and Chronic Cellars. Prior to that he served with Wirtz Beverage, Guinness-Bass Import Co., Beck’s North America, and Heineken USA across a 25-year career in the industry.

In his new role he’ll be charged with driving growth for the Foley portfolio, which includes Chalk Hill, Chalone, Kuleto, Sebastiani, Foley Johnson, Acrobat, and Two Sisters, among others and accounts for approximately 1.5 million cases annually.
